Providing For Those in Need.
The Joseph Fund is part of our social action and outreach to our city. Back in 2015, in response to a prophetic word about unprecedented challenges that would face our nation, we as a church took up special monthly offerings for the following 3 years in preparation to meet the needs of our city. How true that word turned out to be!
Over the last few years, as families have felt the effects of Brexit and the coronavirus pandemic, we have helped provide people with food, furnishings, and appliances for their homes; we have been able to bless local heroes, those in our communities who seem to care for everyone but themselves, who just need a helping hand; and we have supported local schools, whether it be clearing up after they have been vandalised or providing new play equipment for the children.
We really believe that Jesus is the solution for society’s challenges. It was his word that inspired this project; his provision that enabled the church to give; and his wisdom that leads the amazing Joseph Fund Team as they help meet needs right across Cardiff.
